check the logs

Twig logs can help diagnose problems:

  1. Open twig
  2. Go to help > open logs folder
  3. Review recent log files for errors

Found a bug? Report it on GitHub:

  1. Go to GitHub issues
  2. Search for existing reports of your issue
  3. If not found, create a new issue with:
    • What you were trying to do
    • What happened instead
    • Steps to reproduce
    • Twig version (help > about)
    • macOS version

restart twig

Many issues resolve by simply quitting and reopening twig.

check for updates

Make sure you're on the latest version:

  1. Check releases
  2. Download the newest version if available
  3. Reinstall following the installation guide

clear cache

If twig behaves unexpectedly:

  1. Quit twig
  2. Delete the twig data folder:
    • Open Finder
    • Go to ~/Library/Application Support/Twig
    • Delete the folder contents
  3. Relaunch twig

Note: This resets your preferences and you'll need to sign in again.
